ABSTRACT

Quality control in the clinical diagnostics laboratory is essential for confidence in laboratory test results and consequently patient safety.

This interactive virtual experience will share concepts and practice for quality control in a modern laboratory with a virtual visit to the laboratory at the Marienhospital, Stuttgart.

We will highlight the key advantages to be gained from modern laboratory processes, instrumentation, test procedures, data analysis, and reporting. This will be followed by an interview section addressing the challenges faced by modern laboratories and some best practice solutions. Finally, we will have a live audience Q&A session where participants can submit additional questions and share experiences.
