Human Low Density Lipoprotein Extract
Technopath's Human Low Density Lipoprotein (HLDL) Extract is manufactured from a high quality source of human plasma using techniques that have been developed by our team of experts.
The LDL extract contains elevated levels of human LDL, with low levels of HDL, and is used by our customers in the manufacture of a wide range of products from calibrators to QC materials, EQA specimens and PT samples. The material allows our customers to independently adjust the concentration of LDL without significantly affecting the concentrations of other lipoproteins. Our product has been selected by our customers to replace the use of animal derived cholesterol extracts in the manufacture of their diagnostic products.
This product is suitable for use in the manufacture of In-vitro diagnostic products: controls, calibrators, reagents as well as EQA specimens and PT samples. Also recommended for Research and Development applications.
Please note, this product is not suitable for use in the manufacture of injectable or transfusable products.
